These are small versions of the full sized lubricator which found application on all steam engines, regardless of service. There were many varieties these being scaled down versions of the simplest. All listed below have metering valve to control the oiling rate and have drain valves at the bottom to remove water to allow refiling. All lubricators are made of C360 brass, those with sight glasses have glass which is high pressure pyrex (replacement glasses are available, call for help).
