This material is useful as stock for studs, etc. Stainless material is 18-8 stainless steel, which is highly corrosion resistant. Material is slightly magnetic so it can be confused with ordinary steel. Tensile strength is 70 KSI, minimum. Steel rod is plain steel, usually C1008-1012. Tensile strength is 58 KSI. Brass material is standard commercial brass, tensile strength 50 KSI.
